I just finished it this morning and was thoroughly impressed with the storyline and all of the work that went into this novel. Has anyone else read it? Thoughts about it?

I love this book sooooooooooooo much!! I've read it many times and it never gets old. When I heard they were making a movie, I was so excited!! And then.. Robert Pattinson.
The book is still great, though.

Lol, my sister and I are curious about the movie. I'll admit that I would like to see it, just to find out how much of it doesn't make it into the book... But I devoured this one, I was truly surprised by how well written it was too.
I guess I need to return it to her and then get my own copy haha.

I absolutely loved the book. The movie was good if you look at at like a love story and don't try to compare it to the book at all. That and I don't mind Robert P.
The same author has a second book out (it might have even been written first) called the Ape House. It is a good book too. Same issues of animal abuse that make me want to tear my hair out. The storyline isn't as good as Water for Elephants. I think it's missing a bit of the human element and there really isn't a love story, but it is still a good read.

It is a poorly educated man that only knows one way to spell a word. - President Andrew Jackson
Careful, she bites.
Why do you love faire? - "The chance to act a fool and dress in beautiful garb! To drink and be merry, to spend some time in another world if even just for a day. The great food and art, and the wonderfully nice people. Of course the Tortugas. Oh and did I mention corsets make my boobs look fantastic? :)," so says the fabulous Lisa Olson. I'll second that.
Well we're only 7 days into National Novel Writing Month if you want to try it yourself!

Okay, I watched the movie, and it wasn't bad! Even my husband liked it. They did change a few things from the book, but the changes weren't too bad.
