My friend isn't a Wench, but she's in trouble and I'm hoping someone knows someone who can help.

Cathy is in PeeWee Valley. Over the past year and a half she broke a leg, then had a heart attack, and as a result she lost her job. She has only been able to find p/t work as a WalMart cashier (while still in constant pain because they won't allow her to sit) and her home has been foreclosed on and was sold this morning.

She and her teenage daughter Meghan are awaiting the eviction order and they have nowhere to go. She has been unable to reach or get a callback from every social services agency we have been able to find. At this point she's so stressed out that she has no idea what to do, and we don't know how long she has until they get tossed into the street.

Does anyone know anyone who has a spare room or something and could use some help around the house and a little money?
Or at the very least would be willing to foster their beloved cat for a while for them?

I'm trying everything I can think of to help them, but I'm up in Chicago and we're trying to find something down there for her so that she can keep what little job and social connections she has. Please boost the signal to anyone you know who might be able to help.
