    Talking Book recommendations

Hi everyone! I'm new to the forum and to the website! I was wondering, do any of you have any good book recommendations about women in the medieval or Renaissance eras? Something that's not boring or staunchly dry educational, but an interesting, fun, and intellectual read? I'm particularly interested in the roles of women in these eras and stories of women who may have bucked/shirked these roles. I hope that makes sense?

Check out Phillippa Gregory! She has written a collection of historical novels revolving around women in the Renaissance. I enjoyed her vision of the wives of Hebry the VIII! Click the link for a list of her available books... http://www.philippagregory.com/books
