    Default Tarot Reading.

What would you make of this reading.. I am sorry that there are some holes, but I forgot to write it down.

The card that covered was the 2 of coins, the card that crossed was the knight of wands reversed. The Emperor crowned me, I can't remember number 4 or 5, but they made sense, the 6 card was the king of swords, the 7 card was the 2 of cups, followed by two other unity/marriage cards, with the result as the wheel of fortune reversed.

I am thinking that the ace of cups was either 8 or 9 position, followed by another card of that type. I have a strange feeling that Justice is the 4 card, with a card of self doubt in the 5 spot. Again I am not sure..

A good friend will come and bail me out of jail...but, Bonnie will be sitting next to me saying, "Damn...that was fun!" With Nikki on the other side trying to squeeze out between bursts of laughter, "Well, that didn' t work out how I thought it would!" and Fallon sitting at the end still drunkenly singing "Roll Your Leg Over" while trying not to snarf!

Okay, getting out my deck to try and replicate what you related. I read better from the visuals.
I've laid out what you said. What strikes me immediately is that this seems to be about your relationships with males. I'm not going to try and read each card, but I'll try to go through what I've figured out in some type of sensical order. Remeber, I don't know anything about your situation, past, present or future, so this is only wht I'm getting from the cards.
You're in a period of tranistion or self doubt right now, and it's on your mind quite frequently. The specifics don't come out, so I can't say, but some type of uncertainty, as well as a question of personal balance is one of your major concerns right now. dum da da dum. Enter guy into the picture, or he may already be there. He seems absolutely grand. Handome, romantic, firey, passionate, energetic. He seems to be perfect, but there are a few niggling thoughts in the back of your head. He has a few traits that remind you of people from your past and/or background. This thing he does reminds you of your dad. This of an ex, that of a boss or co-worker. Strong male presences in your past who have in some way shaped you. Little things about him are like those men.
Now, there's an issue. He seems perfect except for these things. So, part of you is going, 'Wow, this is great.' The other half is going, 'Hmmm, I don't know about this.' That's the side to listen to! What seems to be the most likely path, from the cards you reported, is to hook up with (or continue) some variety of long term relatioship with this person. It will seem great and you'll think your happy until one day, you suddenly realize that you are not happy, and that somewhere along the way, you made the wrong choice. Not that he's bad or anything, or would treat you badly. Just that those thoughts are niggling for a reason. Lsiten to them.

Like I said, this may be way off base, I don't know anything about your situation. This is just wht I get from the cards. I am assuming this was a celtic cross layout, so read accordingly. If not, I might be more off base than otherwise. Let me know if this is anywhere close to whats going on?

    DAMN, Tempest!!

You're so good, you should come with a warning label.

Next time we meet up, I'm having you read MY cards. And I NEVER get my cards read. Don't usually trust in the reader.

Woot! Another one for me! I hope what I came up with helped, Emalia!

And I'd be glad to do your cards some time, Bonnie. I'm usually pretty good reading for anyone but me. I try to read for myself and the cards just give me gibberish.
I have a friend (who lives in Atlanta now, go fig) who swears by my readings. Never once been wrong for her, and she loves it. She used to call me up at two in the morning from parties going, "Hey! You know that guy you said was the knight of cups and what would happen! It just did!"
Self-fufilling prophesy? Maybe, But I tend to think knowledge of the future, from whatever source, allows us to change it for the better.

I don't know about changing our futures knowledge of them.

I tend to think that our fate catches up to us no matter what we do. For example, if I am fated to break my leg, but I have prior knowledge of the event that causes the break, I may be able to prevent it, but eventually, someday down the road, I WILL break it. In fact, because interest and dues must be paid, what if I break TWO instead, or break a leg AND lose a SO at the same time?

Of course, as Emalia said, this could also be a twist of my emotions at the moment. I'm feeling very fatalistic tonight.

I will agree that there are some things that we can't esacpe from. These things will happen to us eventaully and there's not a whole hell of a lot we can do about it. But, there are always choices. Several different choices may all lead to the same end, but they'll take different paths to get there, which may affect how we view the outcome.
Like the example of breaking your leg. Break it now: go to the emergency room, get a cast, it heals, go about your life. Break it later: go to the emergency room, meet cute male nurse, get his number, he 'helps you around' all during your date.....
You see? Some things are fated, others are not, but those are the things that affect how we deal with what we can't avoid. The chicken you decide to have for lunch, probably not fated...unless you're going to choke on the bone!
Me? I'd like to be armed with as much information as possible to make those choices. And maybe I'll just stick with a salad for lunch for a while....:D

Ok in for my two cents.
I have viewed readings as a tree or a road. At the current time, the reading is the path or branch you are on. Each decision opens up new paths or branches to try out. You just need to decide which way to go. It is a bit of fate and a bit of choice.

    It work for me.

PS. Every reading I have every had has beed extremely accurate.
